Just recently I have realized that there are people in this amazing forum from different countries. For instance I was talking to someone the other day on my thread that was from Canada.

Yes it's amazing that we can chat to people all over the world.
This forum is a wealth of up to date information on tortoises
and because of the time differences we can pick the brains of some very experienced tort keepers anytime of day or night!

Yup, I count among my TFO friends people living in all 4 corners of the USA, Canada, all 4 corners of the UK, Republic of Ireland, Germany, Turkey (but she's a Russian moving to Denmark), Morocco, Jordan, and more...
My Christmas Card list was amazing last year

What is really nice. When your talking thru the forum on threads with people from other countries, it's as if they are very close and right there with you.

I was expressing to my wife recently that it's really cool that TFO is a global forum. It's a world-wide community with different cultures, religions and political beliefs, yet all are joined together for the benefit our shelled friends.
