question about redfoot flashing

are male redfoots known to be flashers? and around what age or size would you say this starts?

My guy was really nasty about flashing and humping things from about July - September and then he flat out stopped.

I've seen my little male get frisky when he thinks is raining . My misting system goes off so does he .

Oh and for the record Vern is 8-9 years old, I've only had him a few months so I don't know when this all started.

That's funny. My hingebacks are like that. When it rains they think it's the signal for action.

My 3 males go through phases, sometimes they sit there flashing for ages, then nothing for months. My cherryhead flashed at 7" SCL. My 2 northerns at 8" and 8.5" SCL.
Not saying they don't do it when smaller.
These 3 were this size when I got them.

I have a 4 year old that is 8 inches SCL. He also goes through phases it seems of flashing and not flashing. I adopted him 5 months ago and he was flashing g since I got him so I have no idea at what age he started.

I've never been flashed by a male RF.
Mine also start humping everything and anything in late summer when it rains.
