so.. Long story short. I bought a Deck Box (60"x24")from Loews. I spent a solid week siliconing every nook and cranny. so that it would hold water. I took it outside, and dumped a 5 gallon bucket of water into it.. no leaks :)
Bramble was loving his new digs..

after a couple months.. the silicon stopped holding :(
There was water everywhere . I went out to buy a large Kiddie pool for Bramble, but I just missed the season :( so, unfortunately Brambler had to spend a week in a 36" kiddie pool... a PINK 36" kiddie pool .
that same night (last sunday) I went and ordered Brambler a new tub. This one being 68"x35".
Tub came this morning, and I just re-homed him. He's much happier now.
Got a couple UV lights up and I'll be setting up a nice basking spot as well. The room is 84* right now so no heat lamps.
there are Hides in there, they're just well camoflauged lol

Bramble is a very pretty tortoise. Nice enclosure. Where did you get the tub, and if its not too personal...how much?

It's a Vision Medium Tub, 68"x 35" x 14". $212 + $130 shipping. Total of $342.
They're located in Ca so that might save you some shipping..

Say, you could still adapt the deck box for an outside hide for warmer weather?

Nice looking tub!

Bramble has a nice new home.... Nice plant and love the paint tray jacuzzi!
I like how you have the substrate at different levels to give the tortise more to explore.:D

nice choice on the vision tub. I personally like them as well but can't seem to wrap my head around spending $200 on a plastic tub. :p

the $200 didn't bother me.. the $130 shipping was the punch to the gut :( All things considered though, I'm still happy with the purchase.

Looks good! But yeah, can't imagine buying such an expensive tub... which is why we opted to build one ourselves, but I understand not everyone wants to go through with that ordeal (or buying tools). Looks like it keeps up the humidity nicely though!
