Here is my female gulf coast box turtle Izzy. She just came out of hibernation and trying to see what and when she wants to eat. Any suggestions?

Hi! I would give her a nice warm soak first. What are her favorite food items?

She was hanging out with our rabbit Smokey today.
Still not eating but I'll give her some time.

She likes strawberries and sometimes cantaloupe.
But I know I need to balance her diet but every time I think I know what she wants she changes her mind.
So I'm trying to mix it up a little. Maybe some worms, greens, etc.

Did you just call me a cutie? (Yvonne blushes)

I laughed after I wrote it and read it. I was going to change it and say the tort that is, but then I thought that sounded mean and like you weren't :D. So, I left it so I would not hurt any feelings. So, yes, both you and the tort are cuties:D

She loves being out in the rain.
While I was out there i found a worm and threw it in front of her.
She took a few mins but then gobbled it up!
I feel a little better now.

Glad she is eating and doing good after waking up.
