Hello! This is my first post, but I have been researching for a tortoise for many years (and checking out your wealth of info for the past year). I currently live in the state of Utah. I have set up my enclosure and think I am finally ready to adopt my first tortoise. I have been researching and think that a greek tortoise will be a perfect companion for my family. Thank you all for your great posts, I have learned a lot!

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I would love to post pics as soon as we finally take the final step and adopt one. I decided on a greek, because it's adult size will be what my family can take care of properly (if we lived somewhere warm year-round, and had a few acres in our backyard, I would LOVE a bigger baby though)!
