WalkingRock got a bath today (tub soak w/warm water) and after a quick drying off, he took off down the hall and was stopped by Mom who happily hand fed him a nice fresh pear...

...Nothin' like pearface to make a tortoise happy!

This is WalkingRocks 1st piece of fruit since early Summer and he's been hunkered down in his nice warm house for the last 2 weeks because of the cold. I pulled him out for a warm bath and try to feed him... he ate the pear but turned away from everything else... even his favorite, brochlie.

That is indeed a ID tag attached to his shell!... he has excaped the yard twice, once in front, once in back... now the 'hood knows where he lives and my # just in case!

only 2 escapes! and both because a gate was left open and curiosity got the best of him! He's happiest at home!

It is attached with a 2 part epoxy designed for bridge anchors.... Hopefully I won't have to be the one to change it!


Location wise.... it's the only place i've found he cant scrape it off
