I finished my daytime tortoise enclosure. It's like a raised garden bed with lids! I have latches on the front with hinges on the back where they both open up separately! Eco friendly bark and soil. Russian Tortoise seeds grew in nicely! Usually the enclosure has half sun, half shade all the time. The lids are covered with plastic fencing. It will be used for sunny days only. He goes inside the house on wintery days and nights!

You have done a fabulous job.

Might consider adding 1-2 more hides scattered around the enclosure. They really like digging down, so having a larger plastic plant pot (or any large enough plastic container), cut in half and placed on the soil allows this.

Your tort is going to be very happy.

That looks fantastic!! I love it! I'm using it as decorating inspiration for poor Nelson's bare enclosure.

I'm also going to save the pictures for when I'm ready to build Nelson's next enclosure. I love the design. Well done!
