I recently got a Hatchling Sulcata Tortoise. He is still a hatchling and we have him in a 40 Gallon tank with a mesh lid. I know mesh tops are bad but I cant find any other lid that allows UVB in. Im trying to look for a half mesh half glass lid. I covered all I can with foil but I don't think its doing enough to keep the humidity and heat in. Any suggestions or lids I could use?

Its hard to cover a 40 gallon tank when you have to use 3 light sources (uvb, basking, and night heat) u would be better off getting a pvc enclosure or if you need a cheaper way out a grow tent would work.. ive used them in the past and they hold heat and humidity very well and are very cheap compared to a pvc enclosure( especially a sulcata that if properly cared for will grow out of it in 6 months) heres an idea of a grow tent enclosure
