I'm making a new enclosure for my tortoise how far down should i put the wood so he cant go under?
I also used pavers. They are inexpensive and don't rot. (I later found out that MY species of tortoise do not dig)Rather than burrying the wood, I put pavers all around the inside perimeter of my enclosure. They will go up against something and dig. The pavers have stopped perimeter digging.
That's the size if an adult male. How long have you had him?Russian tortoise, 1 year, he's 5 inches long
Beat me to it!That's the size if an adult male. How long have you had him?
Could we see pictures? Russians are also adept at climbing, and the walls should be capped.Well I already built it but I'll still look into buying pavers if he tries to dig can someone send me a pic of a paver
