I'm thinking about buying a Russian tortoise, and am able to purchase all the equipment I need for it indoors. Is a 6x3 foot enclosure okay, or does it need to be larger?
I think you will get feedback that it should be bigger, and in a perfect world that'd be great, but 18 square feet should be ample for your Russian, especially if you can get them outside a bit in the summer months.I'm thinking about buying a Russian tortoise, and am able to purchase all the equipment I need for it indoors. Adult. At the house I currently live, the grass is unfortunately sprayed with pesticides. I will be able to bring the tortoise outside though, when I move to a farm.Baby or adult?
Why would you want to keep it indoors when you live in Florida?
