How big are your adult redfoots? Length and width? I am working on building a night box and need measurements for the door.

Julio, my adult female is 10.5" long and 7.5" wide.
Plus legs and head.
I'd go for 10" wide by 8" tall.
BTW, I use rubber, DOLLAR STORE automotive floor mats as door flaps. They can be trimmed with scissors, last a couple years each....and are $1

It rains every day this time of year.
The pens are mostly full of whatever weeds they wont eat.

LOL! Mine too. Next year I'm going to plant some testudo mix from Tortoise Supply and see how long it lasts.

That Dollar weed and Bahia Grass are tough and very trample resistant.
Bahia will stop most lawn mower blades. As well as attacks by hungry tortoises
