Re growing Lettuce Heads

I saw something on Facebook about re growing romaine lettuce heads! (It'll also works with celery) All you do is put the head into a cup of water and put it by the window. I thought this was a bunch of malarky but being an avid lettuce eater and also feeding it to tortoises. I put it in a cup and well.....

Yup, it's pretty awesome being able to salvage lettuce. Just remember that the new growth will never truly grow to its original size. Great job and good looking red :D

Any free growth is good growth!! Lol! I can feed the little pieces to my hatchlings. And thank you. His shell looked pretty so I snapped some pictures. xD
