Hi. Passing along this romaine lettuce tip that seems too good to be true. Turns out, you can re-grow it from the core in a jar with a little water you change daily. All you gotta do is get down to the heart, cut off the top of those pale green leaves, put in a jar with water. Takes about two days to see growth. I only began my "heart garden" last week, and shocked this works. Might take a month to get enough leaves to harvest from the cores I got in jars, but if means don't need to buy it after my starts "start", willing to wait. This also works on celery and bok choy. Crazy neat, huh?
