I'm worried about the piramyding.
20c is too cold for night temps. I would not allow temps to go below 26c day or night. They respond best , eat well & stay active between 26c - 32c, 80f - 90f.Hello! Since a few weeks ago my Aldabra is in the interior since here in Spain it is cold. However, the tortoise is not very active and eats little ... I maintain a temperature of 26ºc for the day and 20ºc for the night. As a substrate, I use pine bark. As a lighting I use a halogen spot bulb and a compact 10.0 uv bulb. I keep it at a humidity of 70%. What I can be doing wrong? I hope you can help me ... Thank you very much.
Could you please give me some info of the importer/breeder in Seychelles. I'm planing on raising some aldabra torts.Thank you very much to everyone for your help. I thank you from the heart. The tortoise was imported from Seychelles, but it takes 4 months in Spain. It is quite smooth and rounded.. .As for food, which would be the most correct? I read that they eat carrots and some fruit in addition to green plants.
