I almost got one of those humidifiers for my tort...... Only I was going to get the elephant :D

I would like to recommend getting as big water container as possible. Mine is like 3 liter holding capacity. I set mine on timer for 5 hours total running time per day, set highest output for the mist and I need to refill the water every 10 hours.

Elephant is nice one though :D

In my country we call it mini elephant grass. But I know that it is also available in USA. Forget the scientific name though. However it is okay to feed to torto, but not as nutritious as other grass like bermuda or Timothy

Found it in the web wikipedia.
Grass name is Axonopus compressus (Blanket grass, Broadleaf carpet grass, Lawn grass, Louisiana grass, Tropical carpet grass; syn. Axonopus compressus (Sw.) P.Beauv. var. australis G.A.Black, Milium compressum Sw., Paspalum compressum (Sw.) Nees, Paspalum platycaule Willd. ex Steud., Paspalum platycaulon Poir.)

Looks like your little guy has a good life!

Honestly I don't know. I just provide things needed and can only fully care for him on Sunday, just hope his baby sitter does a good job while I'm away :p

I would love to have a pond for turtles, but mine already occupied with koi fish. So they need to stay in aquarium.

I just purchased a new feeding slate 2 days ago. It is made from some mountain stone.

I think this will fit him for several years depending how fast he grows :)

Those look really great!

Thanks, I have tried to find something like this for sometime. At first I want to use clay saucer, but I think it will be easy to get toppled by Megatron. This one is heavy enough and big enough for him to walk around on it :D

* I think it is perfect. We use glazed dishes for our that size, hard to keep clean!

Good then :)

That piece of stone is actually for use in kitchen, especially to make chilly sauce, to grind all the chilly, tomato and ingredients there. It is widely used in my country, and I always like its shape :D
