Great pics! Looks like he was really enjoying it in there.
Thanks, I don't think I've ever seen him so messy[emoji4] usually when I get home he's already out and about.Great pics! Looks like he was really enjoying it in there.
Lol. How did he get all of that coco peat on top of his shell? He is quite alert for having just woken up.I got out of work a little early today, so I was able to be there when the lights came on in his enclosure and watch him wake up.View attachment 244175View attachment 244176View attachment 244177View attachment 244178
I have his hide full of it, usually everyday when I get home from work I push what he pushed out back in. He really seems to enjoy digging in it. Sometimes I can hear it hitting the top of his hide as he digs it. He must have just really gone to town last night. Lights were on for probably 10 or 15 minutes before I took the pictures. Usually I don't get home for close to an hour or so after the lights come on.Lol. How did he get all of that coco peat on top of his shell? He is quite alert for having just woken up.
Lol. Well now you can't change from coco coir since he enjoys it so much.[emoji23]I have his hide full of it, usually everyday when I get home from work I push what he pushed out back in. Yes it was, it was definitely a happy Friday.Funny Sheldon!! That is nice coming home to. *smile*
Turt is burrowing down more too, lately in his Coco Coir. But not as well as a Sulcata, haha!!
Thank you[emoji3]. I always felt bad for him when he was in his tortoise table, I was always afraid to keep his substrate damp because I could never hold a constant temperature except for underneath his basking light. I agree, tortoises look great all messed up. My dog on the other hand, not so much.[emoji23]Ye. Funny how their happiness can make us happy or not. Lol. It is by far easier to wash Sheldon than it is your dog. Also Sheldon does not have a lead.[emoji23] [emoji23]Thank you[emoji3]. Anything Clunker gives his seal of approval to, is good enough for me.Clunker likes his coco coir too! It's messy but that's why he likes it. He will literally fling the dirt onto his back very purposefully. Mmm dirt blanket- cozy
Lol, it did almost look like he was smiling.OMG I would die if Skurt was all dirty like that lol he looks so cute and happy!!! He's got a goofy grin like oh hey there don't mind me.
I think you nailed it.I like Sheldons grumpy grin. Reminds me of the one grumpy guy from the MuppetsView attachment 244212
