Yeahhhh, I came home and started shouting at him after he mowed over the dandelions lol
Top tip. Teenagers shouting at parents NEVER works. If it anything it makes it worse.

I speak as both a parent and a former teenager myself.

Mowed dandelions recover quickly. Usually quicker than the grass. So don't get cross.

It's like a constant mini war lol my dad likes gardening and I'm always trying to grow weeds in it. He is still waiting for me to dig the big sow thistle out but I'm scared there will be worms when I dig... EW! I think he will be waiting a while to get rid of it lol

Let is make seed, sow the seeds in the pot then let your Dad do what he likes with the original plant.

You need some gardening lessons from Dad. It may not be a cool thing for a teenager to do, but it is OK to ask him for help ;)

You do have to keep watering.

If you dig a plant up, you damage its root system. It's important to dig a little wide round the plant so you get as much of the root ball as possible.

It's normal to prune it back so there's a smaller leaf area for the damaged root ball to support until it recovers.

It's actually easier from seed as long as you keep the compost moist. Why not look up a few videos on youtube on how to cultivate seeds and how to transplant plants?
