Can my herman tortoise eat sour thistle? Can he eat any thistle?

I'm sorry I don't have scientific names handy, but I feed sow thistle, regular just plain old "thistle", and milk thistle, to all of my tortoises regularly. You guys might have different common names over there, so I would post a pic and get some confirmation before you feed it. I'm not familiar with anything called "sour" thistle.

when I google sour thistle, I come up w/lots of images of what people on this forum generally call sow thistle, Sonchus...

Do you mean sow thistle?

Sow thistles are excellent food for tortoises and very common in the UK.
