Brand or link would be nice if possible.
Any that have a warm mist. There are all kinds and price ranges and sizes. I would try to get any that has a round spout that the mist comes out of. This way if you want or need to attach a hose to it, it's easy to do.

Welcome some use them some don't. What kind of tort do you have? Some require closed enclosures to hold the humidity in. If you have the proper substrate and closed enclosure you can achieve the proper humidity level with spraying with a water bottle.
Pics of your tort and enclosure will help us determine what you need.
We are here to help .

Why

Why don’t you like them? I find misting the substrate doesn’t do too much.
They give off a cold mist whereas the whole point is to create a warm, humid environment. Also when it fails, not if, then your humidity is gone. With a closed chamber you could goes days with out watering if you limit the number of times you open it!

Yeah... misting doesn't do much.

I don't like them because they shouldn't be necessary and I don't like the tortoises treating that wet air. If things are too dry it indicates a problem with the enclosure. Rather than continually try to bail out your leaky boat, its better to repair the leak.

No. I don't like to use them. Using the correct enclosure will make them unnecessary.
This is also my experience and my suggestion after using humidity adding devices both purchased and of my own design over the years.
It's just an unnecessary item that ads complexity to a simple issue.
A closed chamber system takes all of the hassle away.

I only “close” my tortoise table at night. It has been very helpful with maintaining humidity. Do you think that in addition to spritzing the substrate is enough for a 2 month eastern Hermanns?
