    Misc empty egg shell from my avian incubation ! ( in picture are guinea fowl and turkey )

    As there are some afterbirth leftover they seem to seek out the shell whenever I offer them ( once a month maybe )
    As calcium supplement .

    How do you keep them? I wonder as I have the same weather as you right?

    I don't soak them after 6"

    They free roam the yard after 6" ( snack on lawn 24/7)

    Supplemented with other green 3-4 times a week .

    Bring indoor for the night till 12" .

    6-12" juv are in dog cage off the ground ( rats can be nasty at times ) at night or during prolong rain !

    A 100w light as heat source .

    When there are less of them - they are housed in proper enclosure with lightings and all every night on pellets . ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1434538768.935691.jpg

    Now only the smaller sp like spider or angulated or ........ Get to live in these enclosure permanently .
