Beautiful! Thanks for posting. I'm also in CA, and have been thinking of getting an Aldabra. I went to the Oakland zoo to see how their Aldabra torts faired in the Bay area climate, and it almost discouraged me from getting one. Yours make me believe I can raise a healthy one here.

Just a warning, as I get closer to securing my yard to make it tort proof, you can expect lots of emails from me.
