Can anyone identify this breed? I found him today!! :-(

If I'm remembering correctly, you're in the UK where there are no indigenous tortoises. That's someone's escaped pet. It's one of the Testudo species, but I'm not good at I.D.ing them. I'd GUESS marginated, but let's send a shout-out to @HermanniChris and @Markw84 to find out for sure.

Wicked thanks guys!! Yeh it’s definitely a pet-no micro chip, he is in my outdoor enclosure far away from my leopard!! I thought marginated. Very much appreciated-just wanted to get an ID on it so I can care properly for it until I locate the owner thanks again [emoji217][emoji217]

Can you provide a shot of the plastron (under shell). I'm not so sure it's a marginated.
