Hello, i’ve been reading through a lot of the redfoot posts about the different regions of redfoots. Sadly the posts are old and not all of the photos load. Some of my redfoots are obvious but these two in particular I wonder about. Any guesses? Both females.

Sorry none for sale. I only have two males. I have to brag about my Smaug though, he is a handsome boy ❤️ Are you the one I am buying the female from on MorphMarket?

Seems all the male cherryheads available lately are the orange marbled ones. A few places have them at the moment

Thanks for replying tortoisebreeder, do the male tails grow at a later age or around what size do you notice the longer tails?

I’ve looked for an answer on this question and can’t find it.
Also, the first one on the image has a slight concave and a peanut shape on the edges. This is why I ask when do the tails grow becauseI have a small hope that it might turn out male. Haha

Sorry I didn’t see your comment till now, yes mine shown and yours are female

The first female I posted above looked probable male for the longest but she is definitely female and lays eggs. She has a bit of a wasp waist and slight concave when viewed from an angle. Some females are just odd like that. A male would show a longer tail than yours by that size, it’s hard to say at what size the tail would grow, they’re all different.

Another way to tell besides the tail is look how thick it is on this part of the plastron. It’s of course more noticeable the larger they get.
