I am planning to grow the following in a shallow dish and put the dish DIRECTLY into the enclosure for her to eat fresh. Planning to plant these in eco friendly soil. Do not plan to use any pesticides etc.

- Marigold (Crackerjack)
- Pink Radish (suspect she will eat the leaves as they sprout?)
- Morning Glory
- Butternut Squash (suspect she will eat the leaves as they sprout?)
- Kale (Dwarf Green Curled)
- Turnip: Early Snowball (suspect she will eat the leaves as they sprout?)
- Romaine Lettuce
- CATGRASS (IS THIS SAFE?)
- Alfalfa

Please

I've tried planting spring mix and other greens and veg. in Pio's outdoor enclosure and he eats them right down to the ground as soon as they come up. Pansies are another thing he eats to the ground. He never bothers with the plants inside for some reason. Hope you have some luck with that. Post some pictures if you can.
I also get loads of seeds at the 99 cent store near me.

I will surely post pictures. What do you think about the above list? are all those plants/flowers/vegetables ok for a redfoot? Anything toxic/bad that I should avoid?

Okay... I don't know if it's the same for Redfoots, but the Russian tortoise site has Morning Glory listed as a toxic plant. Like I said, I don't know if that applies to Redfoots, but it might be a good one to avoid until you can confirm one way or the other.

(And now I have to go hunting through the local dollar stores for seeds... Gawd. Thanks a lot, guys! ;) )

Morning Glory is considered bad, and Romaine is considered rather worthless. Good luck!
