Water fountains or Mist fountains any good???

Hi,

I was wondering if a water fountain or a mist fountains any good for a redfoot enclosure if I want to add humidity?

and the misting fountain...the only thing about this is it change the color...would it be bad for the tort with the changing color???

I really like the fountains. I've often thought of putting one in Dale's enclosure. I'm not sure if the mist one would be good or not. Hopefully someone will post that's know something about that. I don't think the other fountains would be bad to use if you wanted to add a little something though. The only thing that might concern me is that I know tortoises don't hear very well, but do feel vibrations. I'm wondering if that might bother them now that I'm thinking more about it. I know that the fountains would have some kind of vibration to them. Something to think about.

Ultrasonic mists have been implicated in respiratory problems, and tend to drop the temps. They tend to create a slightly chilled mist that sinks to the tortoise's level. I m not sure how big a deal this is, though.
