Darn it! I'm trying to find that post where Len told us about the old, old variety of opuntia that he had, maybe a Mexican species, and I can't find the correct spelling of Len's username. Can anyone help me out?

Varietied? Is that what you were thinking of? There slider tall pads with some bluish white pattern.
I don't remember, but not too long ago Len mentioned a very old Mexican opuntia that was spineless. But I can't remember the correct spelling of Len's username so I'm having trouble doing a search. His username is something like Tortulas Len, but the search comes back 'not found'

Not a prob! It's almost Halloween, so I don't mind putting on my jaizei costume.
If you do the @ and then what you think his forum name is, it will pop up with what the forum thinks you are looking for and you might recognize one of them. At least my iPad does it and I tried tortulas and I didn't recognize any of them being his.

Ah yes that species. Are you looking for some? I've got 4 or 5 patches, two are getting quite large.
I believe he was talking about a cactus native to Texas. 
There is some ads on eBay calling it "old Mexico" species too but in the description it states it grows in Texas so I'm about sure it's the same as the above.
