We just got our baby Russian last week. She has been an absolute joy. I also have a tank full of superworms for other reptiles. She has been fascinated by the worms and has spent a lot of time watching them through the glass as they crawl around in their tank. I took a worm out for her and she chased it all around the floor and tried to catch (she is fast when she wants to be!). She seemed to have a great time chasing it and I think it is great mental and physical excercise. I know that Russians are strict vegetarians. I am wondering if the very occasional superworm would be ok. In the wild, I think they would come across the occasional bug and probably try to eat it. A note that otherwise, I am being very strict about what she eats and I am following the guidelines on this forum and the pages suggested by other members.

Any thoughts?

I think as a seldom treat would be fine. They would come across bugs and worms in the wild, just be careful of feeding too often.
