Hey guys,

I use coco coir and I have noticed my baby gets stuck in it. Anyone else have this issue? Also any recommendations for water dish?

Terracotta plant saucers work well for water. If you pat down the coco coir he won't get stuck in it. You can add cypress mulch to the top also .

Maybe try tearing the coir up a bit? I haven't used it in a long time, but I remember mine being really short and fluffy, not stringy.

Is he getting stuck because it is too dry? If you keep it moist, it will settle nicely like dirt. I have to wet mine every few days and spray it down a few times a day to keep it moist because my CHE dries it out quickly.
