We soak him every day. Did so even during the monsoon bringing in some humidity. On days when it is really hot and dry I do it twice a day. I also keep a spray bottle handy and give him a good spray now and then. He has gotten into a habit of getting into his water dish and sitting for awhile lately. He is still outside and has alot of shadey areas, and grassy areas as well as some hibiscus plants and squash plants. (I was rather shocked the squash actually sprouted and its really taking off. We had acorn squash for dinner one night and for the heck of it I put a few seeds in his area. Crazy how fast they came up and are growing) He has a deep burrow underneath a very large yucca that is in an area where we were able to get some mist to it to keep the humidity up. He has grown 3/4 of an inch since early July and his new growth "appears" to be coming in abit smoother. We are currently working on a night box/house for him for the cooler months as we know we need to get him outa that burrow and into a better spot over the winter. Given how he started off he is definitely doing and looking a whole lot better.
