about 3 weeks after i got him my male hingeback tortoise (aka) rigamortis the tortoise passed away last night. its sad to say but i saw it coming. the day i got my tortoises via mail he seemed fine. walking around and exploring but not eating. i noticed he was very light in weight and became very sluggish. i felt like things where getting better for him after i got him to drink water and eat a few worms, (about a week later) he even became somewhat active. yesterday everything seemed fine he came out to explore in the morning and went to his hide in the afternoon. I didn't see him until i checked in on him this morning and found him stiff as board. so sad but its a part of life.

RIP Rigamortis the tortoise

ps my female is doing fine very active and eating plenty.

So very sorry:(. Do you have any idea what was wrong. Hope your other one continues to thrive.
