Evergreen topsoil: pine fines, hardwood fines, forest products, sand and fly ash.

Is this safe for my RT?

If it is, I guess now I have potting soil! :p

There are some who will argue that any sand leads to compactions- even though several people use sand with no known issues.

Others will argue that pine in any form is a problem- again, many people have used it OK.

Can you not get something like cypress or other hardwood mulches, or 'clean' topsoil, etc.?

The bag was $1.50 so I grabbed it just in case. :p
I've got cypress mulch and sphagnum moss. I wanted the soil to grow weeds. Petsmart was out of coir!
