Redfoot and high humidity

This is one of my other juveniles. Cared for along side peaches. Although I'm more than happy with her growth there are flaws in her carapace. When I got her the front and 2nd from the back centre scutes looked as if the areola were sort of stood proud of the rest of the carapace, obviously she is a splitty too. Is it a case of no matter how good this tort was cared for there would have always been flaws?

That's a neat split...it looks like an extra scute fell out of the sky and <SPLAT> stuck to her. LOL
