Poo

I take as much interest in my tortoise's poo as I do my own ( it's an age related thing I think!! ) so it is interesting to note that their poo, now they are out at grass, is a completely different colour . Whilst waiting for their lawn to grow and thicken up,they had a big concrete enclosure and were fed basically the same as they are getting now ie. weeds,flowers,vine leaves etc. but no grass. They were offered grass but even chopped up and sprinkled on their meals,they didn't seem to eat it. Their poo was always very black. Now their lawn is up and running and they are used to it and starting to eat their carpet I notice their poo is now quite green and very fibrous.
