Parasite?

Hi, Friends,

I found this gem in my hatchling’s tank. It was on the side of the food saucer, and smelled like tortoise poop.

I thought it was a slug at first, and threw it outside. Then realized it may be a symptom of something more nasty.

Omg I’m so sorry!!! I know better - should have put the pic in the comments or even warned someone!!!

I hear that the mucus is normal for hatchlings as their digestive systems mature. Anyone know?

@BevSmith Is the hatchling the baby Aldabra tortoise?

The stools to me just look a bit watery.
What are you feeding it?

Ours appear to have stools a bit more solid.
