HELP!!! SHELL ROT!! ?

Is this shell rot? During soaking i realized that the gap between the two scutes on the left has this strange thing on it. So i took a plastic thing to push it off, cuz i thought it was mazuri. Then the tortoise started wobbling and realized it was smt else. When i pushed it to side, there was something quite nasty inside, it looked rotten

I have just removed that piece i was mentioning in the first pics.
It now looks like this! Is this normal?
Look at the top area, and the bottom of the shell, it has another strnge area.

Look at 1507 and 1515, they are more obvious.

I can't but my Russian has a little shell rot and someone told me to put some neosporin on it after a soak and he is dried thoroughly

if it were me i would say it does not look like a vet trip...im new to the tort world but i would just leave it alone for now and keep it clean after you soak make sure n rince him off really good looks like maybe some salve cld help but i bet it will go away. ?? hope this give you a bump and sum1 who knows more can chime in good luck dont freak out it dnt look bad

The inside looks like its got mazuri…but its not mazuri, it just looks like it.
And it seems as if there is a small narrow tunnel that goes inwards

Since others seem to think it's ok, I won't contradict.
For me, I don't like the fact that it has a 'little tunnel inward' and I'm not sure if shelll rot tunnels. It's hard to see in the pics, but if YOU think it's shell rot, gently wash with a diluted betadine wash, dry well and put athlete's foot cream on it.
You seem to be very worried and when I worry that much-I go to the vet to ease my mind.
Maybe others will respond with something different and have knowledge of what it appears to be.

Is it ok if i use sphagnum moss for this situation in the humid hide?
