The fact I can tick seeing the northern lights off my bucket list from the comfort of my own home is pretty fabulous😍
Any fellow UK folks got pics of your view? Heard parts of the US can see them too! Post your photos!
I was even lucky enough to see a shooting star!💫

I got to see it once back in the 90's here in the US. I never dreamed I could see the Northern lights where I live but I did. I didn't know what I was watching but it was so beautiful I knew I was being blessed.

I guess if I get up at 3 in the morning, I have a chance of seeing them here in Chicago. As much as I'd love to see them, I don't think I'll be getting up.
Gave to wait and see.
You did get some beautiful coloring and very vibrant. I wouldn't have expected that.

Apparently there’s a chance we can see them tomorrow too! Will definitely be keeping a look out!

How long do they appear for?
I got to see the time I saw it for a long time. My son saw this one once so far and it was for a shorter time. Maybe a half hour but we have the whole weekend to go this time. If you live in the country you gotta try at least.

In the US it's supposed to be visible even in the south. That's so cool. I've never heard of that happening before. I read it's because of a solar flare.
Yeah it’s a flare that’s caused a massive solar storm, there was an even bigger flare this morning meaning for us in the uk we’ll see it again Sunday/Monday night😁
Seeing all the little meteors fly past is SO cool! Though I’ll always prefer calling them shooting stars😅💫
