Welcome to tfo. I don't have sulcatas myself but i would not think it should be a permanent problem. If it bleeds at all you can touch some styptic powder to it. That should stop the bleeding. They are pretty tough lil guys, just keep soaking him and reading the threads on sulcata care. There is great information here.

Hello and Welcome :) check out the threads at the bottom of my post. Great for raising a smooth sulcata. I am not sure about the nail growing back. I do believe it will, as long as it was just the nail. There won't be any other problems though because of the missing nail.

Welcome to the forum. Your baby looks so precious. I think his nail will grow back, but as Wellington wrote, check out the threads for raising sulcatas because your baby looks so nice right now, but if not regularly soaked in warm water, and the humidity in his enclosure is not high enough, then his shell can start to pyramid. That would not be a good thing. A proper diet with calcium supplements goes hand in hand with the humidity factor.

Hello and welcome.

No way to know if it will grow back, but it should not affect him either way.

Thanks all for the warm welcome..the humidity should not be a problem as it's 70%-80% humidity here in Malaysia..for soaking,I soak him for regular 45 minutes daily with lukewarm water.I will keep on reading on threads and do more research to enable it grow well.
