Just before re-soaking their substrate.

Plexiglass covers right side at night to hold in moisture.

New pics, as in this black tub is their new outdoor home? What did you used to keep them in?

Looks pretty tiny in the picture.

In the 2nd picture I see some grass in your yard, is a nice backyard pen not an option?

Unless the pic is REALLY deceiving, it looks far too small for two leo's of that size. Im guessing this isn't a permanent home? :)

Yes I've had the home for a few months now. It is a low sided 60 gallon which has more area than a deep 50 gallon. An outdoor pen is in the works though, I am just searching for the perfect design, but I can't figure out the easiest way to tackle that while keeping them heated and safe from predators. Ideas/references for outdoor enclosures would be great. I do believe the picture is decieving because they have quite a bit of space, plus they have a huge fenced in pen (5 foot diameter hexagon) for grazing during the day.

I am about to put together an 8 foot by 8 foot outdoor pen for grazing all day this summer with top protection.

Throw some bricks or landscaping timbers into a design for the enclosure. Leopards don't burrow or dig, and they aren't bull dozers like the sullys. Take 2x4's and hardware fabric/metal fencing and make a top for the enclosure. Bring them in at night for sleeping. The enclosure is too small. I had two that size for my one hatchling leopard. Yes it was probably too big at that time, but I can't imagine having him in one that small at his size. Although your torts look about his size, it may just be the pics. Mine is 7 1/2 inches.

What Barb said, and how about along the house in the second picture? You would only have to come up with 3 sides, already some grass there.

Will do. Most of their time is out in the grass and in at night, but it has been staying too cold lately. The 8 by 8 pen will be done in a week or so.

Well a large square outdoor pen will be able to move around. I didnt want them to be able to bite the stucco. If i make a permanent home there, I need ideas on how to properly heat it at night time. But out during day, and in and night will have to work for now.
