Hello
I having issues with the proper placement of the digital thermometer sensor that I am using for my new outdoor enclosure I built. I will ad pictures so you can get a feel of its size. It measures 2.5 tall X 3.5 wide X 3 deep. Im using a 150W CHE now because the 100W one was not doing the trick. I live in Southern California but it can still get in the mid 40's at night. I want to know where I should put this thermometer sensor. I want to make sure the enclosure is properly getting warm rather than just the CHE immediate area. The CHE is about 19in from the floor and there is a 10 in gap between the highest point of the shell to the CHE. Ive seen Heat mats but they are a bit to pricey right now. I don't know if I should lower the CHE but then Ive heard people dry the shell up. Any pictures of your set up or input would be appreciated.
