so i finally finished my new 4x8 closed chamber for my redfoot i still need to get some more plant's and getting a new uvb today but here are the pictures as of now

thanks he already is very happy with it i'm debating getting some wheatgrass seeds to throw down in there or grow in a tray and place in there

i got tired of everyone asking me what was in there everyone seemed to think a big snake or a lizard so i had to do this 5487.jpg

the amazing thing is i was never once asked if it was a turtle or tortoise it was always a snake lol

can tortoise eat mushrooms?

yeah they can but i wouldn't go picking them wild i buy mine from a reliable source my redfoot goes bonkers over mushrooms

plants are natural ? your tortoise dosnt eat them?

the fern's are natural the spider plants are fake there is alway's the initial test bite but after that i've never seen him do anything just gotta to be careful and it kinda depends on the species redfoot's aren't as destructive to the habitat as say a russian or a sulcata at least that's my opinion
