I have a Russian tortoise named speed, I'm wondering how often I should feed him, is once a day right it should I do it more??? Thanks for all the help.

Once a day is good. The size of their shell is the amount of food you give. If my Russian gobbled up the food I sometimes have more.
The size of their shell should be a pile of food the size of their shell. I always like to have more than that, but you can determine whether it's enough or too much by how much they eat. Just thought I'd clarify
