My Hermann tortoise's sleeping problem

I got a baby hermann tortoise about two months ago. For the past three days when he goes to sleep, he doesn't put his head, or legs into his shell. Is this normal?

Yes, my tortoise almost never puts himself into his shell when sleeping.
