When I first saw Crackers she was in a cage full of nasty water. My friends little step sister (which they don't live with) had it in a dark hamster cage. I was about to get 
a box turtle so I already had the terrarium lighting and such. So I convinced her to give it to me. Before leaving I asked her where she got it from and she said her neighbor owned it and one day their dog attacked it and he didn't want it because it shell was messed up! How mean is that! When we were in the car she poked her head out and looked around. She smelt bad from the dirty water so I soaked her in some fresh water and when i took her out and she walked around. Since his sister never cleaned the water though crackers had an infection and we got that fixed and she's fine now. And Crackers is doing great!
