New Box turtle , :D

So , uh about 2 days ago , i got this new turtle , but i didnt know i got him , if that makes any sense , here is what happened, .
Okay , so i thought my box turtle Ripplee , got out and my mom thought she found him and put him back in the cage , well when i went to check on ripplee today , i found that there was two turtles in my cagee, i was so confusedd, but i learned my mom got confused , and put a turtle she found in her garden , but the thing is our yard is gatted in so i have no idea how the turtle got in my back yardd, he is little, and im thinkin he is a eastern box turtle ill post pictures, tomorrow, .

I would be careful - depending on where you are located, Eastern Box turtles are protected in many states. It may be illegal to keep one that you find.

That is very odd though, lol.

I found a box turtle in my backyard when I was kid. And I live in Western WA where you'd never find a wild one.
