Before those replies come, these ARE Redfoots, not Yellowfoots despite what you may see some advertised as........

A common name isn't supposed to be taken so literally.......

Anyone claiming them to be yellow foot would be inexperienced, being that they're obviously lacking the two large prefrontal scales. Are these a certain variant/locality of red foot? I have a female like this that is VERY yellow.

Hi

I participate in latin tortoise forums (Im latin, from Puerto Rico) and I have seen these yellow redfoots mainly in colombians owners. I might say that colombians redfoots are yellow...(Mostly)

This is typically a Colombian redfoot tortoise with yellow head and yellow feet, native to the fothills of the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta in Colombia. I've got an old one, here it is :

Those are very nice! I wish I had the room to start some locality projects. How do the Colombians compare in size and shape (on average) to the Surinam's and Brazilian's?
