Male vs Female in babies

I've got two babies, one 2 inches and one 1.5 inches. The bigger one started out the same size as the smaller one. However, it grew super fast and has dull coloring on the ears. The smaller one hasn't grown too much and has super bright coloring on the ears. Is this a ways to guess gender at such a young age?
