Is it true that leopard tortoises are prone to have cold? even in a not so cold climate...
is there anyone experienced this before?

i am planning to have another tortoise, and i want it to be a Leopard tortoise, but when i asked my friend if Leopard tortoise is a good choice, he told me that leopard tortoise are not so hardy, unlike sulcata. He also said that the Leopard tortoise can easily catch cold. Even soaking it in a lukewarm water, it will.

sorry for my grammar.
hope concern people will understand what i am trying to say...

any reply will be much appreciated.

Many people sa y they do, but I have not seen much evidence of it. To expand you can soak a leopard without giving it a cold. The rule to remember is don't keep them cold and wet and they should be fine.

No problem. Just keep your tortoise warm, provide sunlight, food and some room, and you should have no problems. I own 2 leopards myself.
