That is a very cool leopard tortoise!

Looks big too for that small amount of growth...or she just has small hands.

Neal beat me to it to say "Cool", but it is cool.

Many African species have a touch of red, so it's in the pool of selection genetics out there. I wonder if a touch of red might be more 'sunbursty' than that one. I don't ever recall seeing red in a leo, but that would be an interesting color to bring out.

I can see how that description is used. There is one on here that gets posted all the time that I would not hesitate to call a Pretzel Leopard Tortoise. Is it really any different than saying Blond Leopard or High White?

I guess I'm just blind this a.m. I'm not seeing anything unusual about the tortoise.

I'm with you, Yvonne. I went back to look and the only red I saw was on fingernails.
I am on my phone, so maybe my screen is too small to pick it up.

I don't ee any red either. I just see a really nice pattern that looks like little sunbursts.

Is my writing hypnotic?

I don't see red at all. I think red would be more 'sunbursty' than the pattern shown. Red is present in many African Tortoises. It would be good to try and breed for red in Leo's as well.

Sorry for confusion, your phone screens and early AM perusal are doing just fine.

Oh, "send me all your money"

Look Into My Eyes! You're getting sleepy. You're seeing RED on the little tortoise (where there is no red)...

SNAP!!!

I still don't see anything unusual about the pattern on the little leopard to make them call it a sunburst.

I think it might be because the scutes were referred to as sunburst on the CL listing, which is a type of finish on a guitar ... check out the YouTube picture on this search. Kinda? sorta? maybe? Learned something new for me. I just know that leopard is cute looking. Someone should go get that sweet darling! Looking at you Matt! : )

I'm with you Yvonne. The pattern is nice. But I don't see anything to call it Sunburst. I also don't see any red. I even put my glasses on:D
