Well I finally did what I have been meaning to do for awhile. Nice rainy day so I sat down and looked up all the plants I have planted in our flower beds. Bleeding hearts, foxgloves, peony(lots), Iris, Clematis, poppy, Rhododendron,lilies Rhubarb azaleas.
Guess what ALL of them have in common????? Toxic!!!!
I have some Bee Balm, and some day lilies that are safe,actually I had to look up Bee Balm separately to find that out. But it appears safe. What are the chances????
So guess what I am planting THIS year?? Not sure, but I will be looking it up first.. What are some good suggestions of stuff that would tolerate New England?
