Is this shell rot?

Just noticed these little white marks on Sheldon's plastron after giving him a bath, is it the start of shell rot or just something he's rubbed on? He had calcium powder on his food yesterday and he was sat in it lol It doesn't smell of anything but it also doesn't seem to want to come off

I don't think so. Shell rot looks more like that patch on the other side of the plastron, where it looks like some has broken off. You can always try to clean it off with a brush and see if it comes off.

So should I treat the other side for it then? That side still doesn't smell either

And if yes what's the procedure again? And do I put the treatment underneath the bit that's peeling?

Looks ok to me...and the other side appears to already be healing up...I would just be sure to keep the shell clean and the little piece that is still peeling away...clean and free of poop and debris....
